Art Thing / Exhibits:
What’s an Art Thing (Collaborative Exhibit)?
The Art Thing Collaborative, Inc. is committed to making art something everyone can be part of.
Art Thing Collaborative Exhibits transform the simple, everyday things we do—like taking photos, collecting keepsakes, and other ordinary ways we express ourselves—into opportunities to connect with each other through what we have in common.
These “Art Things” are more than galleries—they are collaborative displays of who we are, plain and simple.
By hosting these exhibits in accessible spaces like libraries and community centers, and inviting everyone to participate, these “Art Things” help create new feelings of belonging and connection and bring our communities closer together.
More about Collaborative Exhibits:
Community Collaboration:
Through workshops, open calls, and collaborative activities, we work with communities to design adaptable exhibits that reflect shared experiences and local identity.
Communal Expression:
Everyone is invited to share a piece for the show, making these exhibits true reflections of real community and collaboration.
Celebrating Community:
These exhibits are Art Things that honor the shared, simple, meaningful ways we all express ourselves in our ordinary lives.
